Manna exists so you look at your phone less. Collecting your life into ours would be a strange way to honor that.

What we keep

Your account holds your name, your email, and when you joined — carried between the app and this site by Supabase, our database provider, and guarded so only you can read your own records. If you're a member, we also keep whether your membership is active, which plan it is, and when it renews.

What stays on your iPhone

The apps you choose to block and the history of every session you run (when it started, how long it lasted) live on your iPhone. That history is not uploaded, not tracked, and not sold. Blocking runs through Apple's Screen Time, which never shows us your app activity at all.

For your Lock Screen

So your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island can show the mode you're in and when your next one starts, even when the app is closed, Manna sends our server: your upcoming plans (each mode's name and when it runs), the mode you're in right now with its start and planned end, any planned modes you dismissed, your time zone, an identifier for this installation, and the tokens Apple uses to deliver those updates. The server keeps these, along with a record of the updates it sent (which mode, and when it started and ended), with your account. They're used only to send those updates, and they're deleted when you delete your account.

Signing out stops new plan and session uploads from that iPhone and ends the Live Activities currently on it. The app then asks our server to retire that installation, and keeps retrying until it can. Server updates may continue until that request succeeds, and updates already sent may still arrive.

Payments

Purchases made in the app go through Apple; purchases made here go through Stripe. Neither shows us your card. RevenueCat, our membership manager, tells us only what a receipt says: plan, status, renewal date.

Sign-in

You sign in with Apple or Google. We never see or store a password.

Leaving

Delete your account anytime from the app's settings. It removes your account and everything it holds from our records, for good. Data stored on your iPhone stays there.
