Our mission

Live more of your life.

Most of the things people love happen with the phone somewhere else: the long run, the dinner that goes late, the chair you finally finish, the song you learn all the way through.

The phone is the best tool anyone has ever made. It holds your music, your maps, your camera and the people you love. It's also pointed, most hours of most days, at a feed built to make one more minute feel like nothing.

We don't think the answer is a worse phone. Manna turns the phone toward your life: choose the thing you want to do, tap once, and, with Screen Time allowed, the apps you picked are blocked while the mode runs.

Then we count the hours, from the moment you tap and never a minute more, so you can see where your week goes.

That's the mission. More doing. More people at the table. More of the week spent on the court, at the bench, in the chair with the book.

A great tree on a rise above a lake, with small figures reading, walking, painting and sharing a meal

What we hold to

Build on the phone.

It's the best tool most of us will ever own. We work with it, not against it.

Start with what you want to do.

You pick the thing first. Blocking apps is how the hour holds, not why you're there.

Real hours only.

Every minute is measured from the moment you tap. Nothing is estimated, rounded up, or invented.

Your measured history stays on your iPhone.

The record of every session is kept on your iPhone. Screen Time never shows us which apps you use.

Your life is meant to be lived, not scrolled.

The name comes from an old story: bread that arrived each morning, exactly enough for the day. The opposite of a feed.
